DEAR PARTICIPANT,

It will be a great pleasure to meet you here in Turkey, Samsun, in the international training course ETJOF, “ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE JOBS OF THE FUTURE FOCUSING ON WEB 2.0 SKILLS”.  It is an Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme according to Non-formal education activities. It will be a learning by doing experience for you with Web 2.0 applications. You will have a chance to enhance your spirit of entrepreneurship and 21st century skills.   Generally, as the candidates or ready-entrepreneurs, by this Project, we contribute you, the youth workers, to develop your readiness for the jobs of the future.

The general information about the Project and how to apply it. As soon as you will have been selected, you will receieve another detailed info-pack for preparation, travel arrangements and day-by-day programme of your training course (the programme is flexible and may be changed).

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

This project generally aims at planning an education for youth on the jobs of the future in which entrepreneurial skiils are integrated and Web 2.0 applications are used; and raising the awareness of the youth within this aspect.

In line with this general aim, this project spesifically addresses to these objectives:

•    To give trainings of 36 courses to support the employment rates and to make the youth ready for the jobs of the future in advance by developing the technological skills of the youth (each course is 40 minutes and totally 1440 minutes);

•    To transfer the 21st century skills, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation of the youth to business world;

•    To support the employability levels and hopes for career development of the youth;

•    To enhance the spirit of entrepreneurship, personel development, self-esteem, intercultural awareness and active societal participation of the youth;

•    To arouse interest on the participants to entrepreneurship, make them maintain positive attitude, to increase their motivation and to use the theoretical and applied skills gained from the Project in order to learn the necessary information and abilities.

•    To make the youth take part in the sectors which have possibilities for global market, export capability, high rate of employability, brand value, innovative and technological infrastructure through entrepreneurship competences.

TARGET GROUP

•             To be minimum 18 years old,

•             To have readiness about non-formal education techniques/methods,

•             To be a youth and be interested in the field of Educational and/or Social Sciences,

•             To have active participation responsibility to all sessions,

•             To be fluent in English,

•             Willing to develop/produce and open minded to learn,

•             To carry their PCs having properties to activate the Web 2.0 applications (Animato, Prezi, Canva, Weebly, Inspiration) – one of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Edge browsers ; Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or Mac OS X v10.10 or more; minimum 2GB RAM and DirectX 9 or more operating systems; DirectX 9 or higher, and a dedicated or integrated graphics card-.

YOUTHPASS CERTIFICATE

---

Every participant is individually entitled to receive a Youthpass Certificate which confirms participation and validates the non-formal learning (NFL) experience of the Youth Worker’s Mobility and Training Course projects. Self-evaluation and validation of participants’ learning experiences are important as such and the document can be of benefit in terms of the educational or employment future of the participant. Through Youthpass the European Commission ensures the Training Course activity is recognised as a non-formal learning experience. ACCOMODATION and TRAVEL and SAFETY

---

Full accomodation and meals reimbursed by Project, travel expenses will be finance according to Erasmus+ travel reimbursment conditions country by country. All the Project budget financed by Turkish National Agencies under Erasmus+ Youth Programme. Besides you can easily fly to İstanbul, Ankara destinations and come to Samsun by 1 plane from that cities. From İstanbul 9 Hours by bus (734 km), from  Ankara  5 Hour (402 km) and you can find bus every hour. As soon as you will selected, you will receieve the details about travel. You can see  Samsun on the map coloured in red. Moreover Samsun is one of the very safety venue in Turkey.
